Story behind the COOK

Born and Raised in MS. I've always been known as a "Hustler". Never sold drugs a day in my life, but I did sale candy bars and bags of chips at school. I was the snack boy at school that made a killing off $.25 snickers. From school sales to cutting the neighbor's grass, I've always had the mentality to go get it. I like to eat so I would find myself always in the kitchen being a critic of my sister's undone chicken, boy has she come a long way. When I am cooking, I am in a totally different mindset. I have one focus; That's to be efficient, preeminent, and distinctive. Once I accomplished that working from home, I decided it was time to go bigger. "Cooking with Shaifer" has grown in so many ways. I've catered to parties, individual needs, and of course I am a show off on Facebook. I like to entertain my Facebook followers (in which I've accumulated a bit) and give them incite on what goes on in my kitchen. BUT, the big banger is; I've invested in a Food Truck with the help of my mentor. Which means, I travel!!! The queue on a day to day basis is magnificent. I am so blessed to have the support that I have from the home team (Port Gibson/Vicksburg, MS.) and my fans who are based all around the world. I am so excited about my new venture and just wanted to say, I'll be in a city near you. Welcome to my website.
